Only yesterday, I changed my CX500's fork oil from ancient (though not particularly high mileage) ATF oil, and replaced it with 15W fork oil. Surprisingly, the old ATF oil still had some of it's red colour. The bike now feels more stable in bends than previously, and doesn't dive nearly as much under braking.

Fork oil in the left leg looked dark (Black, original OEM fork oil is red, looks like tranny fluid). Quantity seemed low, but not bad. Took 4 flush cycles to get the dark crappy looking oil out (ie fill with a quantity if fresh oil, pump the chrome tube up and down a bunch of times, dump, repeat)
What is the fork oil capacity for a Honda hornet 600? 486 ml. Car starting with letter H? Hummer and Honda are cars. The Hudson Hornet was manufactured by the Hudson Motor Car Company in the 1950s
Oddometer: 10,248. Location: Austria. Oil capacity is two litres, when you change the filter, which is located on the right side of the engine, under a round cap (3 screws IIRC). Drain oil from the frame downtube and the drain screw on the left side of the engine. Fill up via the dipstick between tank and steering head.
Honda 919 / Hornet 900 spec; Engine oil: Honda recommends SAE 10W-30 oil that is JASO T 903 MA rated that are not “energy conserving” or that have molybdenum additives, as these may affect clutch operation. Honda recommends Pro Honda GN4 10W-30 oil. Tighten the drain plug to 29 Nm (22 ft-lb). Oil filter
Yup.. You can use CRF/XR 50/70 tapper bearing kits. Can be found for about $20 on the mini sites. You will need to make a new steering stop for the CR's trees. The 86-89' CR forks can be lowerd a little with a small spacer under the damping rod. Damping holes are huge, you may still want to play with fork oil weights, oil heights and air pressures.
